Materials
- hard card stock paper (scrapbook paper works too)
- rotini (twists),elbow, farfalle (butterflies/bows), ruote (cartwheels), and/or rigatoni pasta
- markers or paint
- hot glue gun (works the best) or elmer’s glue
- a passport sized photo
- short piece of yarn about 9 inches long
- hole punch
Directions
- Trace a circle on the backside of the paper with a small rectangle on top for the yarn and cut it out
- Glue the photo onto the middle of the ornament
- Color in the pastas various colors
- Glue it onto the paper in random order
- Punch a hole in the middle of the rectangular area
- stick one end of the string through the hole and tie a knot to complete the loop
Tips
You can make different ones with a picture of your favorite things to hang all over the Christmas tree. It could be a picture of your favorite dog, toy, food, friend, mom, dad, etc.
